Spa and Pool Cartridge Filter

The pool cartridge filter provides high performance filtrations along with low maintenance. The proven design of the pool cartridge filter effectively strips particles from spa and pool water. Particles so tiny that the human eye can't see are filtered out to create sparkling clean water. All you do is open the top of the pool filter, remove the cartridge, rinse it with water from a hose, and replace.

This is the most efficient pool filter on the market because of its particle stripping power. Microscopic contaminants, as small as 3 microns, are no match for the D.E. pool filter's technology. Sand Pool Filters

The most popular pool filter, the sand filtration system is simple, effective, and requires little maintenance. Similar to a espresso machine, sand pool filters push dirty water through a bed of filter sand where contaminants are removed, and clean water exits out the of the pool filter. Dirty water goes in the top of the pool filter and clean water exits out the bottom.

To clean the filter, simply reverse the process, dumping the waste water; this is referred to as backwashing the pool filter. In comparison to cartridge and D.E. pool filters, sand filters are the least effective because sand pool filters allow small particles to pass back into the pool.
